Made to your measurements

Because your garment is cut to your measurements, nobody else can wear it. That means we cannot take a bespoke piece back simply because you have changed your mind. It is why we take the fitting so seriously before anything is cut, and why we would always rather talk it through with you first.

If the fit is not right

We will put it right. If a finished piece does not match the measurements we worked from, bring it back to us within 14 days and we will alter it at no cost to you. If altering will not do it, we will make it again.

If something is faulty

A fault in the fabric or the making is ours, not yours. Tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will repair it, remake it, or refund you.

Ready-to-wear pieces

Anything not cut to your measurements can come back to us unworn and with its tags within 14 days, for a refund or an exchange. You cover the return postage unless the piece is faulty, in which case we do.

How to start

Send us a message on WhatsApp with your order number and a photograph. We will come back to you the same day wherever we can, and tell you exactly what happens next.

Orders

Your order is confirmed once we have both your measurements and your payment. Until that point nothing is held and nothing is cut.

Payment

We ask for payment in full at checkout. It confirms your order, puts your piece straight into production, and means there is nothing left to settle when it arrives. You can pay in Naira, Pounds, US Dollars, Euros or Canadian Dollars, and you choose your currency at the top of any page. Amounts other than Naira are converted at the rate showing that day.

Production time

Production starts once your payment clears and usually takes about three weeks. Delivery adds another 3 to 10 working days depending on where you are. If a piece needs longer than that, we will tell you before we begin.

Need it sooner? Ask us before you order. We can often move things along, though it depends on what else is on the bench at the time, and it usually carries a small additional fee.

Measurements

If you send us your own measurements, those are the ones we cut to. We are always happy to walk you through taking them on a free call, and honestly, we would rather you let us.

Your information

We keep your name, your contact details, your address and your measurements so that we can make your piece and get it to you. We never sell them to anyone. If you want your account and everything in it deleted, just ask and we will do it.

What we collect

When you create an account or place an order we collect your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, delivery address, and the measurements you give us. If you pay by card we do not see or store your card details. If you join our list we keep your email address.

Why we collect it

Only to run your order and reach you about it: to cut your piece to your measurements, deliver it to the right address, keep your history so you never re-measure, and answer you when you get in touch. Nothing here is used to profile you or sold to anyone, ever.

Payment

Card payments are handled by Flutterwave, a licensed payment processor. Your card details go straight to them over an encrypted connection and are never stored on this site. Bank transfers go directly to our account; we only see that a payment arrived.

Where your information is kept

Your account and orders are stored securely with Supabase, our database provider, protected so that only you and LAYI can see your own records. Your browser also keeps a copy of your cart and preferences on your own device so the site works smoothly.

Sharing

We share your details only with the services that make your order happen: the payment processor for payments and a courier for delivery. We never sell your information, and we never pass it to anyone for advertising.

Marketing

We email you only if you asked us to, and every email has an unsubscribe link. You can opt out any time and it takes effect straight away.

Your rights

You can see the information on your account, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Just ask and we will do it, usually the same day.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update it here. Anything significant, we will tell you directly.
